SOME ADVICE FROM STRETCH ARMSTRONG
¿¿Is it getting colder??....
The answer to that question is yes!! It is definitely getting colder! (Thank you family for sending me winter-wear....you are lifesavers!!)
So I'm just going to narrate some photos that I sent here. I like reading people's emails. Especially missionary emails because they are always so exciting and fun. I have to confess something though. I don't like writing big emails 😂 So some photo narration will be sufficient for the day.
Here is a dog in a house we visited that would jump up in between my legs😂 Her name was Princess! Even though she didn't necessarily look like a princess, I thought it was so funny how she was excited to see some missionaries!
As you can see through wind, rain, heat, snow, anything!! This message brings so much joy and is so important to me and other missionaries all around the world. Even though we might get wet sometimes, every little drop is worth it. If we can withstand the storms of life, there is always a rainbow in the future. Keep on pushing. Keep on pedaling!(literally)
Coming home on Halloween night from a house it was practically a monsoon outside. In just 5-8 ish minutes Elder Montoya and I were soaked head to toe.....my shoes are still drying a week later👍. I sang church songs and laughed, smiling during the whole ride home. Memories like that can't ever be forgotten!!
Elder Montoya and I got a little Creative with some pass along cards in a neighborhood. The sign said that they would take anything that was left, so we took their word for it and planted some seeds of faith for whoever walks by the sign!
We had a Noche de Hispanidad where we celebrated Hispanic cultures and shared foods dances and so much more. Here is one of the members who is so amazing to us. He and his family are so awesome. We all ate way too much food!! ¡Jaja, buenas suerte en el baño!
Today for some P- Day fun, Elder Montoya and I hid a little stretchy wrestler guy (apparently Elder Kraemer is too young to recognize Stretch Armstrong :) You can buy one for yourself HERE) with a note in our apartment. I hope that one day someone finds him and us encouraged in whatever way they need! We wrote our names and the date with some advice.
The work is moving forward! Thank you all for the love, support, and prayers. I urge you all to pray for missionary opportunities too!
-Share your testimony, and sometimes use words- while your at it.
